Welcome to lizamillsgunksart.com (the “Site”), operated by Liza Mills: Gunks Art (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”).
1. Products
- Original artwork — one-of-a-kind pieces by Liza Mills
- Open edition prints — reproductions with no fixed quantity limit
- Merchandise — items such as clothing featuring Liza Mills‘s artwork
Colors may vary slightly from what you see on screen due to display and printing differences.
2. How Orders Are Fulfilled
Depending on what you order, your item is fulfilled one of three ways:
- Shipped directly by us: Original artwork ships from Liza Mills: Gunks Art/ New Paltz, NY.
- Shipped by our print partner: Open edition prints are produced by, and shipped directly to you by, Beacon Fine Art Printing on our behalf. By ordering an open edition print, you acknowledge that production/shipping timing and quality reflect Beacon Fine Art Printing’s standards. We remain responsible to you for making sure the order ships and is handled correctly, even though a third party produces and ships it (see Section 4).
- Shipped by our fulfillment partner: Merchandise is produced and shipped by our fulfillment partner, Printify. By ordering merchandise, you acknowledge that production/shipping timing and quality reflect Printify’s standards. Production and shipping of merchandise is also subject to Printify’s own terms of service, available at https://printify.com/.
3. Pricing & Payment
Prices are listed in USDand may change without notice. Payment is due in full at checkout, processed securely via Stripe.
4. Shipping & Order Timing
- Original artwork ships from Liza Mills: Gunks Art/New Paltz, NY, typically within 10 business days.
- Open edition prints are produced by Beacon Fine Art Printing within 2–4 business days, then shipped via UPS — typically 3–8 business days total domestically.
- Merchandise ships from Printify, typically within 2–7 business days for production plus 2–5 business days for shipping.
- We only advertise shipping timeframes we have a reasonable basis to expect we can meet, consistent with the FTC’s Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule (16 CFR Part 435). If an order can’t ship within the stated timeframe (or 30 days, if none is stated), we’ll notify you and offer the choice to consent to the delay or cancel for a full refund.
- International orders (original artwork and open edition prints, shipped to Canada and Europe) may incur customs fees, duties, or import taxes, which are the buyer’s responsibility.
- Risk of loss/title passes to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier, except where law requires otherwise.

5. Returns & Refunds
See our separate Refund & Return Policy for returns, damage claims, and cancellations.
6. Copyright, Moral Rights & Licensing
All artwork and images on this Site are the original creation of Liza Mills and protected by U.S. copyright law. Liza Mills retains all copyright and reproduction rights in every piece – original or print – unless a separate signed agreement transfers those rights in writing.
Buying a piece – including merchandise – transfers ownership of the physical object only. It does not include the right to:
- Reproduce, scan, or photograph the work for redistribution
- Use the image commercially (e.g., producing your own merchandise, advertising, resale of reproductions)
- Create derivative works
- Alter, crop, or modify the work in a way that could harm the artist’s reputation
We grant our fulfillment partner(s) a limited license to reproduce the artwork solely to produce and ship your order (prints and merchandise); this license does not extend to you as the buyer, and does not change the restrictions above.
Original work may also carry rights of attribution and integrity under the federal Visual Artists Rights Act (VARA), which the artist retains even after the sale — separate from, and in addition to, copyright ownership.
7. Accounts & Email Sign-Up

8. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use the Site to violate any law, infringe our (or others’) intellectual property, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with Site operations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Liza Mills: Gunks Art is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Site use or product purchase, including delays caused by our fulfillment partner or shipping carriers – except where we’ve failed to meet our own obligations under Section 4.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Products are sold “as is.” We don’t guarantee an exact color/texture match to on-screen images due to display and printing variation.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New York without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms; continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
